環境治療・建築家／国士舘大学名誉教授

第44回アジア建築家評議会（ARCASIA）及び各委員会が3日間に渡ってスリランカの首都コロンボで開催された。

ARCASIA フォーラムの一貫として各団体の会長が出席し、アジア建築家が取り組むべき課題について情報交換と方針設定、そして実行手段について協議する。ARCASIA は年間を通して、各分野で非常に活発な活動を続けている。

小生はARCASIAを形成する24か国の正規団体である日本建築家協会（JIA）の一員として、また、第16代ARCASIA 会長として参加した。

The 44th Architects Regional Council Asia (ARCASIA) and its committees met for three days in Colombo, Sri Lanka, as part of the ARCASIA Forum, where the presidents of each organization attend to exchange information, set policy,

and discuss means of implementation on issues that Asian architects should address.

ARCASIA remains very active throughout the year in various fields.

I participated as a member of the Japan Institute of Architects (JIA), the official association of the 24 countries that form ARCASIA, and as the 16th ARCASIA President.
